Mentoring Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Mentoring Attorney to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior attorneys while excelling in office management and team development. The Mentoring Attorney will play a crucial role in mentoring junior attorneys, providing guidance in case management practices, professional development, and trial strategies. They will contribute to the growth and development of the firm's legal team through mentorship and leadership.

Duties:

• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior attorneys.
• Advise attorneys on proper case development, assessment, and valuation for all phases of litigation.
• Collaborate with junior attorneys in the development of litigation and trial strategies.
• Participate in negotiations in mediation and/or direct negotiations.
• Conduct regular case reviews to monitor attorney productivity and progress toward goals.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior attorneys as needed.
• Contribute to attorney training programs to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
• Provide regular reporting on attorney performance and progress toward goals.
• Contribute input for annual performance reviews.
• Preferably admitted to practice in Georgia Federal Courts.
• Trial experience preferred, especially in trucking and/or commercial cases.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
• Prior mentoring and development responsibilities of junior attorneys preferred.
• Graduate of an ABA accredited law school.
• Current member, in good standing, of the State Bar of Georgia.

Requirements:

15+ years of experience litigating cases.

• Graduate of an ABA accredited law school.
• Current member, in good standing, of the State Bar of Georgia.
