A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney for its Riverside, CA office.

Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges. Additionally, they will advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law matters. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, 4-6 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters
  • Handle class/collective actions and various cases, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract disputes, employment tort, and non-compete cases

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 4-6 years of experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred
  • Current California Bar admission in good standing
  • Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures

Certifications:

  • California Bar admission
