Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with extensive experience in complex commercial litigation and product liability. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, superior analytical abilities, and a science background.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
• Supervise associates and collaborate with experts.
• Assist development and deposition preparations.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Contribute to case strategy development.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree and Bar admission.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Direct AmLaw 100 law firm experience.

Education and Certifications:

• J.D. degree.
• Bar admission.
