Senior Attorney needed for Atlanta office

Job Overview:
A dynamic and fast-growing family law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator with a strong foundation in family law, who is confident in managing a high caseload and mentoring junior attorneys. The position involves courtroom advocacy, strategic case planning, and a leadership role within a collaborative and values-driven legal team. The successful candidate will be organized, empathetic, solution-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters including trials, mediations, and arbitrations

• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs

• Conduct legal research to support case strategies

• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys on case management and legal techniques

• Collaborate with internal staff to meet deadlines and enhance client outcomes

• Guide clients with empathy and clarity through emotionally challenging legal situations

• Maintain awareness of evolving laws and procedural rules

• Contribute ideas to improve internal policies, procedures, and team efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years focused on Georgia family law

• Proven track record of courtroom litigation and client representation

• Demonstrated ability to manage a heavy caseload independently

• Strong problem-solving orientation with a focus on solutions and efficiency

• Ability to mentor others and work effectively in a team-driven environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia

• Membership in local bar associations preferred
