Job Overview: A law firm in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a General Liability Defense Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload of complex litigation cases, providing legal representation to insurance carrier clients, and working closely with an experienced Partner to develop effective litigation strategies.

Duties:

• Manage a high-volume caseload of complex litigation cases.
• Provide legal representation to insurance carrier clients.
• Independently handle and manage individual case files.
• Collaborate with an experienced Partner to discuss litigation strategy.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients and internal teams.
• Conduct legal research and stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of Louisiana.
• Proven experience in defending clients in various litigation matters.
• Familiarity with personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense cases.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
