A law firm is currently seeking a skilled Lateral Government Contracts Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, D.C. This position requires expertise in government contracts law, including litigation, transaction support, suspension and debarment issues, and False Claims Act/internal investigation matters.

 

Job Overview:

  • Provide legal counsel on government contracts matters, including disputes, transactions, and compliance.
  • Support corporate transactions involving government contracts.
  • Address suspension and debarment issues.
  • Handle False Claims Act/internal investigation matters.

 

Duties:

  • Litigate government contracts disputes.
  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate transactions involving government contracts.
  • Address suspension and debarment issues as they arise.
  • Conduct internal investigations related to False Claims Act matters.
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating government contracts.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in government contracts law.
  • Experience in litigating government contracts disputes.
  • Familiarity with suspension and debarment procedures.
  • Knowledge of the False Claims Act and related compliance issues.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
