Duties:

  • Represent public agencies and school districts in labor and employment matters.

  • Assist with collective bargaining and union-related matters.
  • Offer guidance on compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, litigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop proactive strategies to mitigate employment-related risks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Expertise in representing public agencies and educational institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Experience with collective bargaining and labor disputes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters and provide strategic legal advice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the California State Bar (required).

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork in a dynamic legal environment.
