Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with a strong foundation in personal injury law. This role involves handling a high volume of complex litigation matters from inception through resolution. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while still requiring close collaboration with the legal team. Ideal candidates will bring a proven trial record, client-focused mindset, and strong litigation skills to a fast-paced, plaintiff-oriented practice.

Duties:

• Handle all stages of personal injury litigation, including:

  • Case evaluation and client advisement

  • Drafting and filing lawsuits

  • Managing discovery (drafting/responding)

  • Conducting depositions

  • Leading mediations and negotiations

  • Trial preparation and courtroom representation

• Oversee legal strategy and work independently on assigned caseloads

• Collaborate with litigation support teams, junior attorneys, and paralegals

• Evaluate settlement offers and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients

• Maintain timely communication with clients throughout the litigation process

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of litigation experience, specifically in personal injury law

• Demonstrated 1st chair trial experience (minimum of 7 trials to verdict required)

• Admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing

• Proficient in litigation from intake through trial and settlement

• Ability to manage complex caseloads with minimal supervision

• Strong skills in legal analysis, oral advocacy, negotiation, and organization

• Capable of balancing competing priorities and working under time-sensitive deadlines

• Professional demeanor in client interactions and team collaborations

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school (Required)

Certifications:

• Active Texas Bar license (Required)

Skills:

• Deep understanding of Texas personal injury statutes and litigation procedures

• Advanced legal writing and drafting proficiency (motions, pleadings, memoranda)

• Strong deposition and trial advocacy skills

• Case management and client relationship skills

• Bilingual fluency (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Technologically adept with remote communication tools and litigation software
