Mid- to Senior-level Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Mid- to Senior-level Associate Attorney to join their commercial litigation team.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to contract disputes, business torts, securities litigation, and intellectual property disputes.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents, and prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Develop case strategies, analyze legal issues, and provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and support staff on case management, strategy development, and client communication.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and legal staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Assist with business development activities, including client meetings, pitches, and proposal preparation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.
• Experience in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of client service and satisfaction.

Education:
