Duties:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of case handling from initial investigation through trial.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, providing legal advice and strategies on construction-related issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Work closely with junior attorneys, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
  • Handle negotiations and settlements in high-stakes construction defect cases.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and participate in firm-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in construction defect litigation.
  • Proven success in managing and resolving complex legal cases.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong record of job stability and positive professional references.
  • Member in good standing with the California Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of construction defect laws and litigation procedures.
  • Strong client management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior attorneys.
