A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level FDA/RFDA Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of duties related to FDA and RFDA litigation.

Job Overview:

  • Position: Mid-Level FDA/RFDA Litigation Associate Attorney
  • Department: Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution
  • Location: Washington, DC

Duties:

  • Represent clients in FDA and RFDA litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to FDA regulations, RFDA laws, and relevant case law.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and requests for admission.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Washington, DC.
  • 3 years of experience in FDA and/or RFDA litigation.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and RFDA laws.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and document management systems.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
