Job Overview:
A respected Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a full-time Employment Law Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of relevant experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced litigators in a collaborative and client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, excellent writing skills, and experience in litigation support including document drafting, research, and trial preparation.

Location:

  • Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence for labor and employment cases

  • Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis

  • Assist in litigation preparation, including trial and hearing support

  • Work directly with clients to gather information and provide case updates

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy, filings, and discovery

  • Maintain and organize case files and legal documentation

  • Monitor case progress and support compliance with court deadlines

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law

  • Strong understanding of California employment regulations and litigation processes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with legal and support staff

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of the California State Bar (in good standing)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)

  • Drafting and analyzing legal documents with precision

  • Courtroom and litigation support

  • Client management and professional communication

  • Strong organizational and file management skills

  • Team collaboration and problem-solving
