Duties

• Represent clients in trademark and related intellectual property litigation matters.

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.

• Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and trial.

• Conduct depositions and provide strategic legal counsel.

• Collaborate with colleagues across departments on IP-related disputes.

• Maintain client relationships and advise on risk management strategies in IP matters.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of litigation experience with a primary focus on trademark-related cases.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex IP litigation independently and as part of a team.

• Proven effectiveness in oral advocacy and legal writing.

• Experience managing junior attorneys or legal staff is a plus.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced and client-centered practice environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with a state bar.

• North Carolina Bar admission preferred, or willingness to obtain it upon relocation.
