Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Encinitas is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong academic background and experience in managing cases independently. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling complex legal issues, formulating discovery strategies, and preparing for trial.

Duties:

• Manage cases independently, handling all aspects from inception to resolution.
• Analyze intricate legal issues and develop effective strategies for case resolution.
• Formulate discovery strategies and oversee the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Manage document-intensive cases, including organizing, reviewing, and analyzing large volumes of documents.
• Draft dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss.
• Prepare for trial, including developing trial strategies, preparing witnesses, and drafting trial-related documents.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Robust academic qualifications from a top-tier law school.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing cases independently.
• Experience formulating discovery strategies and overseeing the discovery process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
