Job Overview: A law firm in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing litigation matters, collaborating with team members, and ensuring effective case management.

Duties:

• Research case law and prepare motions
• Review and draft discovery materials
• Manage cases effectively from initiation to resolution
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on case strategy
• Report, track, and update matter statuses
• Review regulations and advise on compliance issues
• Edit and redline agreements
• Challenge team members on thinking and strategy
• Perform other tasks related to case management

Requirements:

• 3+ years of California civil litigation experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of team members and management
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing abilities

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
