Duties:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters related to commercial transactions, shareholder rights, and business torts

• Lead case management from initial assessment through trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, managing discovery, and preparing motions

• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategic legal approaches tailored to client goals

• Maintain professional and confidential communication with clients throughout the litigation lifecycle

• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and judicial decisions that may impact ongoing or future cases

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or corporate dispute resolution

• Admitted to the Alabama State Bar and in good standing

• Prior experience managing litigation independently or with minimal oversight

• Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage workload in a fast-paced setting

• High standards of professional integrity and a client-first mindset

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Alabama

• Licensure in additional states is considered an asset
