A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking an International Trade Associate Attorney who will be intellectually curious, legally creative advocates with a passion for keeping jobs and manufacturing in the United States. The ideal candidate should preferably have 3-5 years of experience in antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) cases, preferably on the petitioner side.

 

Job Details:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on international trade laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Participate in client meetings and consultations.
  • Provide support to senior attorneys on case strategy and preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel.
  • Stay updated on developments in international trade law and policy.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to case management and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) cases.
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Admitted to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligible for admission.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for advocating for U.S. jobs and manufacturing.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
