A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking an Asset Finance and Securitization Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in structured finance and securitization, with a focus on Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) secured by QM and non-QM mortgage loans, reverse mortgage loans, HELOCs, and Reperforming Loans (RPLs). Additional experience in consumer Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) secured by consumer loans, marketplace loans, auto loans, credit card receivables, and equipment loans is desirable. The candidate should also have an interest in learning and developing relationships with a collegial team, and large law firm experience is required.

Duties:

  • Work on structured finance and securitization transactions.
  • Focus on Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) and Consumer Asset Backed Securities (ABS).
  • Handle transactions involving various asset classes such as solar loans, mineral rights, royalties, single-family rental properties, timeshares, and trade receivables.
  • Collaborate with a collegial team to develop client relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in asset finance and securitization.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Asset Finance and Securitization.
  • Prior work with RMBS and ABS transactions.
  • Experience in other asset classes, such as solar loans, mineral rights, royalties, and trade receivables, is beneficial.
  • Large law firm experience is required.

Skills:

  • Strong experience in structured finance and securitization.
  • Knowledge of RMBS and ABS transactions.
  • Ability to handle various asset classes in securitization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in learning and developing relationships within a collegial team.

We are fond of this firm, who, through large scale mergers, have become a network of integrated offices that can handle clients in any major city. Although that growth has not yet translated into the full scale Fortune 500 multinational clientele, this law firm is content to be the well-priced big firm alternative. With a quirky and youthful approach to the law and firm management, this firm is not as concerned with the bottom line as it is being a novel law firm in which to work. With practice areas that run from international trade to individual tax, there are plenty of opportunities for like-minded attorneys.

Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time. A recruiter will contact you with more information once our internal review of your resume is completed.
