Duties

• Handle a full caseload of civil defense matters from start to finish

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal staff

• Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for trial when necessary

• Maintain organized case files and manage litigation deadlines

Requirements

• Experience managing civil litigation cases independently

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong motivation and a proactive work ethic

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
