A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in family law. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling court appearances, working under pressure, and providing excellent customer service to clients. They will play a key role in building client relationships while managing various legal tasks related to family law matters.

 

Duties:

  • Handle family law cases, including court appearances, with professionalism and expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Propound and respond to discovery requests.
  • Correspond and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Make court appearances and represent clients in hearings and proceedings.
  • Draft family law forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Calculate Dissomaster Child and Spousal Support accurately.
  • Assist senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Licensed by the State Bar of California.
  • Experience in family law, including court appearances, is preferred.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in legal documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in the State of California by the State Bar of California.

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
