Energy Associate Attorney

A law firm in Louisville is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience for its energy mineral title and division order practice. The ideal candidate should have experience commensurate with time in practice, with a preference for general property and/or mineral title experience in the energy sector. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent academic record, exceptional writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and advice on energy mineral title and division order matters.
• Conduct title examinations and due diligence reviews.
• Draft and review legal documents, including title opinions, contracts, and agreements.
• Interact with clients and legal teams to address their needs and concerns.
• Assist in negotiations and settlements related to energy transactions.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in energy mineral title and division order practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and legal teams.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
