Business Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Handle complex business disputes and litigation matters efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct legal research and analysis about case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Manage all aspects of e-discovery processes for cases.
• Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits, and participate in depositions.
• Conduct fact investigation and development for cases.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings as required.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in handling complex business disputes.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions, as well as court appearances.
• Prior experience as a federal court clerk.
• Must be licensed to practice law in California or eligible for immediate licensure.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar or eligibility for immediate admission.
