Patent Agent

Job Overview: A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Patent Agent with 2-6 years of legal experience specializing in intellectual property (IP) law, particularly in drafting and patent prosecution. Job Duties:

• Draft patent applications and responses to office actions.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.
• Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and other stakeholders to develop patent strategies.
• Assist in patent portfolio management and maintenance.
• Provide technical and legal support in patent litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of legal experience, focusing on intellectual property law.
• Experience in drafting patent applications and prosecuting patents.
