Venture Technology (M&A Middle Market) Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Venture Technology (M&A Middle Market) Associate Attorney with excellent academic credentials and 4-6 years of legal experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in public and private M&A transactions, strong analytical skills, and exceptional oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties:

• Participate in public and private M&A transactions.
• Draft key legal documents for corporate, M&A, and securities matters.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on transactional matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with cross-border transactions, as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal Securities laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of legal experience.
• Experience in public and private M&A transactions.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience drafting key legal documents for corporate, M&A, and securities matters.
• Cross-border experience is preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of applicable Federal Securities laws, rules, and regulations.
• Licensed to practice law in either New York or New Jersey; both is a plus.
• Significant M&A experience.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

License to practice law in either New York or New Jersey; both is a plus.
