Attorney needed for Dallas office

A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a dynamic Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing exceptional legal representation, and delivering high-quality client service.

Job Details:

• Meet with new clients and provide initial consultations.
• Maintain regular communication with current clients, offering frequent updates on case status and progress.
• Manage a high volume docket of cases efficiently and effectively.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding case matters and negotiations.
• Supervise and manage assigned case manager and medical clerk.
• File and respond to motions in a timely manner.
• Take and defend depositions as needed.
• Draft demands and other legal documents.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft federal and state petitions.
• Respond to and request federal and state discovery.
• Review medical records and other pertinent documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Contact opposing counsel to negotiate settlements or discuss case matters.
• Evaluate exhibits and other evidence for trial preparation.
• Prepare for and attend trials, presenting cases effectively in court.
• Collaborate with colleagues and be a team player, offering assistance where necessary.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Trial experience is essential, with a preference for 10 or more jury verdicts.
• Strong analytical reasoning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are desired.

Experience:

4-10 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation and trial experience.
