Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their Litigation/Trial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a passion for plaintiff-side personal injury, civil rights, employment discrimination, wage & hour, and class actions. Location:

  • Atlanta, GA

Duties:

  • Handle litigation and trial work for personal injury, civil rights, employment discrimination, wage & hour, and class action cases
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions
  • Manage discovery, including document production and depositions
  • Represent clients in court, including hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support clients’ interests
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case management
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide legal guidance

Requirements:

  • Experience in litigation, with a focus on plaintiff-side cases (preferred)
  • License to practice law in Georgia (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with personal injury, civil rights, and employment law is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Georgia Bar license (preferred)

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills, including legal research, drafting, and trial preparation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex cases from beginning to end
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in legal software and case management tools
