A law firm in Winston Salem, NC, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Residential Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience in real estate law.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in residential real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, deeds, and other legal documents related to residential real estate.
  • Conduct due diligence, title examinations, and property inspections.
  • Handle closings and ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes related to residential real estate matters.
  • Stay updated on the changes in real estate laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing real estate law, focusing on residential transactions.
  • A proven track record of successfully handling complex residential real estate matters.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
