Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation for project finance transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients involved in project finance deals.
  • Review project documentation, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on project finance laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to develop and execute transactional strategies.
  • Assist in due diligence reviews and preparing transactional documents and closing materials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in project finance transactions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project finance law.
  • Strong competency in drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation.
  • Experience in reviewing project documentation is preferred.
