Associate/Counsel with 4-10 years of experience in Commercial/Business Litigation

A law firm in Newark is currently seeking an Associate/Counsel with 4-10 years of experience in Commercial/Business Litigation. The ideal candidate should hold NJ Bar admission (required) and preferably NY Bar admission, in addition to possessing strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial/business litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on commercial litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 4-10 years of experience in Commercial/Business Litigation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Exceptional writing skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• NJ Bar admission (required).
• NY Bar admission (preferred).
