Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:
    • Working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing.
    • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.
    • Participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Must be admitted to practice in NC.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in North Carolina.
