Job Overview

Multiple firms across the United States — including Am Law labor groups, mid-sized regional practices, and boutique labor-law firms — are actively seeking Labor Law Attorneys with 1–10+ years of experience.
With union activity increasing, regulatory enforcement intensifying, and workforces undergoing major shifts, labor law teams are expanding rapidly to meet client needs.

If you have experience in traditional labor or workplace advisory matters, including:

  • Collective bargaining

  • Union organizing campaigns

  • Grievances and arbitration

  • NLRB proceedings and labor relations strategy

  • Workplace compliance and policy updates

  • Strike planning and lockout guidance

  • Labor components of mergers, acquisitions, or restructurings

  • Public sector labor representation

…we want to speak with you.

Duties

  • Advise employers on traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, union campaigns, and grievance processes.

  • Represent clients before the NLRB and in arbitration proceedings.

  • Support labor strategies involving strikes, picketing, and lockouts.

  • Draft, revise, and advise on labor-related workplace policies.

  • Assist with labor issues in corporate transactions, workplace restructuring, and workforce changes.

  • Provide practical guidance to HR teams, executives, and management on day-to-day labor relations.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of labor law experience, ideally on the management side.

  • Familiarity with NLRB procedures, union strategy, and collective bargaining.

  • Strong advocacy, writing, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to advise clients in fast-moving, high-stakes labor environments.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of the NLRA and traditional labor law.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Confident client-facing presence and sound judgment.

  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active matters.

  • Collaborative approach and responsiveness under pressure.
