A law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Mid-level Chemical Science Patent Prosecution Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing highly complex client work, focusing on drafting patent applications and responding to USPTO communications. Duties:

  • Prepare draft patent applications and responses to USPTO communications.
  • Assist attorneys in delivering quality legal services to clients efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Handle highly complex and sensitive client work.

 

Requirements:

  • JD and admission to the USPTO are required.
  • 3+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
  • Degree in organic chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • High level of academic achievement.
  • The solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience.
