The role involves representing organizations in disputes involving workplace-related claims, with a particular focus on individual litigation and complex wage and hour matters. Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation for employment-related disputes, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and client communication

• Represent clients in administrative hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Develop defense strategies in wage and hour class actions and PAGA cases

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare persuasive briefs and memoranda

• Collaborate with internal legal teams and client representatives to drive efficient case resolution

• Maintain case files and track deadlines in a fast-paced, litigation-heavy environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, including employment-related claims

• Direct experience with wage and hour class action or representative PAGA cases preferred

• Strong advocacy and client advisory skills with the ability to work autonomously

• Demonstrated success managing multiple legal matters simultaneously

• Strong attention to procedural and strategic detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong legal analysis, drafting, and research capabilities

• Effective time and case management skills

• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines under pressure

• Comfortable in both remote and in-office collaborative settings
