Duties:

  • Assist in corporate transactions, including private equity acquisitions, dispositions, and operations related to Private Equity portfolio companies.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in various private equity matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different offices to address client needs.
  • Maintain client relationships and assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.
  • Work independently and as part of a team on a range of complex corporate matters.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all private equity transactions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in private equity and corporate law.
  • Strong background in handling corporate transactions, particularly in private equity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours due to the global nature of the firm's client base.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the state bar of the jurisdiction in which the candidate is applying.

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
