Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking a mid-level litigation attorney with strong legal writing capabilities, particularly in the context of Daubert and Rule 702 motions. This role involves substantive responsibility in high-stakes litigation, especially within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Duties:

  • Draft and review legal memoranda, briefs, motions, and discovery responses

  • Develop factual records and assist with depositions

  • Collaborate with expert witnesses and support expert preparation

  • Help shape litigation strategies and case themes

  • Supervise junior attorneys and guide assignments

  • Engage with clients to provide updates and address key legal issues

  • Coordinate with litigation teams across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ litigation experience, preferably with exposure to complex product liability or multidistrict litigation

  • Demonstrated expertise in legal writing, particularly involving Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Daubert challenges

  • Prior involvement with matters in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries is preferred

  • Admission to practice law in Florida

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic record from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

  • Active and good-standing member of the Florida Bar
