A Florida-based civil litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Defense division, with a focus on first-party property damage litigation. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to handle a dynamic caseload in a high-volume legal environment while working from anywhere in the state of Florida. Location

Duties

• Manage and defend a caseload of first-party property damage lawsuits

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Participate in hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings as needed

• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel

• Ensure all legal work meets deadlines and complies with internal and court standards

• Work closely with support staff to ensure seamless case management

Requirements

• Experience in civil litigation preferred

• Strong background or interest in insurance defense and property damage claims

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while handling multiple deadlines

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar (required)
