Job Details:

  • Simultaneously handles high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages, from inception to conclusion.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills for communication with attorneys and clients.
  • Works independently, showing a strong interest in advancing a career in CSG (Corporate, Securities, and Governance).
  • Produces quality legal work and meets billing requirements to ensure excellent client services.
  • Manages and generates business through group and individual efforts.
  • Makes decisions on client matters with little supervision, showcasing a high level of autonomy.
  • Possesses strong, professional written and oral communication skills for internal and external clients.
  • Actively delegates tasks and responsibilities, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Embraces learning new skills and mastering technology, sharing knowledge with others.
  • Works as a diligent member of client teams and progressively leads teams in legal matters.
  • Influences awareness and adoption of the firm's values, as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Utilizes support staff and junior associates to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing in FL.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in ACA, Healthcare Benefits, Qualified Plan compliance, Multi-employer plans, and benefits in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Substantial experience in drafting, reviewing motions, and court filings.
  • Preferred: 5-8 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm.
