A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate Attorney for their New York City, NY, office. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of government contracts experience and possess the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel to clients on government contracts laws and regulations, reviewing and negotiating subcontracts and teaming agreements, and litigating bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims. The candidate must demonstrate high academic achievement and possess superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Counsel clients on government contracts, laws, and regulations
• Review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements
• Litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims

Requirements:

• 3+ years of government contracts experience
• High level of academic achievement
• JD required

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Skills:

• Strong understanding of government contracts, laws, and regulations
• Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills
