A law firm in Washington D.C. is seeking an IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a technical background, with a preference for an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science. The successful candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and relevant experience in intellectual property litigation.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in intellectual property litigation cases, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist in case preparation and strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal counsel and guidance.
  • Appear in court and attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Manage and maintain case files, documentation, and records.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience as an attorney, preferably with a focus on intellectual property litigation.
  • Technical background strongly preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science is preferred.
  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (Washington D.C.).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
