A law firm in New York City is actively seeking a skilled Real Estate Leasing Associate Attorney to focus on commercial office leasing arrangements for large, national, and institutional clients. The ideal candidate will have direct client contact, work independently, and possess the autonomy to manage matters when appropriate. Experience in high-end tenant representation office leasing transactions for major companies is highly desirable. This position requires 4-7 years of experience in commercial leasing.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and negotiate commercial office leasing arrangements for large, national, and institutional clients.
  • Have direct client contact, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client needs.
  • Work independently and autonomously to handle legal matters related to real estate leasing.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on leasing laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements, contracts, and related documents.
  • Provide legal counsel on real estate matters, including tenant representation and leasing transactions.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in New York or eligibility for admission.
  • 4-7 years of experience in commercial leasing.
  • Proven experience in high-end tenant representation office leasing transactions.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in New York or eligibility for admission.
