Job Overview:

The Civil Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling all phases of litigation, providing counsel to clients, conducting cross-examinations, and presenting convincing arguments. The role requires exceptional knowledge in investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, jury selection, trial, settlement exploration, and preservation of appellate issues.

Duties:

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, jury selection, trial, settlement exploration, and preservation of appellate issues.
  • Counsel clients on legal matters related to civil litigation.
  • Conduct cross-examinations during legal proceedings.
  • Present convincing and cohesive arguments in court.
  • Delegate work effectively to non-attorney team members.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of litigation or equivalent experience.
  • An active member of the North Carolina State Bar.
  • Exceptional knowledge in all phases of litigation.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Capability to delegate work to non-attorney team members.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the North Carolina State Bar.

Skills:
