Senior Attorney needed for Raleigh office

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil litigation, strong research and writing capabilities, and a proven track record of success in trial proceedings.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court is preferred.
• Candidates with experience handling multi-district litigation are a plus.
• Trial experience is highly desirable.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina or eligibility for admission by motion.
