Fisher Phillips Expands Employment Litigation Practice in Philadelphia

Fisher Phillips
Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Julia Clark has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Philadelphia office.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Julia was at an employment law firm where she served as lead counsel in employment discrimination and wage and hour matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey federal and state courts, as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. At Fisher Phillips, Julia will be representing employers in workplace law disputes and will advise them on compliance with a wide range of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations. Specifically, she will work with the firm’s growing employment litigation team in Pennsylvania to advise employers on a wide range of employment and workplace matters, and to defend employers against claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.  She will also provide counsel to employers on the development of employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.

Julia joins shortly after the arrival of Jennifer Prior and Kayla Panek and continues to expand an office that has more than doubled in size over the last two years. Since signing a lease to take the 12thfloor of the Two Logan Square building in Center City, and executing the move in June 2020, the firm has added 19 attorneys, increasing its Philadelphia headcount to 35 lawyers. With a steadily growing demand for its legal work, Fisher Phillips’ Philadelphia office continues to recruit emerging labor and employment talent as well as established practitioners for opportunities to grow its Employment Litigation, Restrictive Covenants and Trade Secrets practices.

Julia has been practicing employment law in the Philadelphia market for a decade.  She earned her law degree from Drexel University, cum laude, and her B.A., cum laude, from Tulane University.
