Brown Rudnick Strengthens Tax Practice With Hiring of Rodney Bedow as Partner
Brown Rudnick announced today that Rodney Bedow has joined the Firm’s Tax group as a partner in Boston.
Bedow’s practice focuses on tax planning and transactions involving corporations, partnerships, and multinational entities. He has extensive experience representing early-stage companies, including with respect to reorganizations in anticipation of venture capital investment. In addition, Bedow advises on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, liquidations, financings, and commercial deals both domestically and internationally.
“We are excited to bring Rodney’s brand of passion for helping clients to the Brown Rudnick team,” said Mark Dorff, managing director of the Firm’s Corporate & Capital Markets Department. “He approaches challenges from all angles and thinks outside the box to solve clients’ tax problems.”
Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Bedow was a partner at Burns & Levinson. Before that, he spent several years working at large multinational organizations in the aerospace and defense and software sectors. Bedow also regularly assists nonprofits and organizations aspiring to be nonprofits obtain and retain tax exemptions from the IRS.
“Rodney’s extensive knowledge of sophisticated tax matters will be an asset to our team,” said Nicole Bouchard, leader of the Firm's Tax Practice Group. “His range of tax experience will enhance the strength of our existing tax practice.”
Bedow received his B.S. from Roger Williams University and his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
