Burr & Forman Expands Across Southeast with Addition of Six Attorneys

Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce the addition of six attorneys in offices across the Southeast, including three Partners and three Associates.

“We are excited to welcome these excellent attorneys to Burr & Forman,” said Ed Christian, CEO. “The additions of these experienced lawyers will provide further depth across multiple practice areas and allow us to expand our service to clients.”

Randolph R. (Randy) Lowell joins as a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Randy has extensive experience in corporate governance and transactions and has served as counsel on a number of infrastructure projects and issues. He also has wide-ranging experience in administrative and environmental matters. Randy has appeared before all appellate and trial court levels in South Carolina and is licensed to practice in South Carolina and the District of Columbia. He currently serves as the outside General Counsel for the South Carolina Ports Authority and as a member of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council. Randy earned his LLM in Environmental Law from The George Washington University, his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law, his Master of National Security Studies from American Military University, his Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston.

Joseph H. (Joe) Farrell, III joins as a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. His practice includes business law, contracts, economic development, eDiscovery, Freedom of Information Act compliance, land use and real estate, outside corporate counsel, regulatory law, maritime, and transportation and logistics. Joe served as Assistant Legal Counsel for the South Carolina State Ports Authority and as Membership Chair on the Board of Directors for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s South Carolina Chapter. He earned his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law, his MBA from the Citadel, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wofford College.

Joseph (Joe) Owens joins as a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. His practice includes business law, contracts, economic development, general counsel, land use, real estate, regulatory law, maritime law, transportation, and logistics. Joe use to serve as Assistant Legal Counsel for the South Carolina Ports Authority and as Membership Chair on the Board of Directors for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s South Carolina Chapter. He earned his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law, his MBA from the Citadel, and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Wofford College.

Kevin (Kyubin) Han joins as an Associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. Kevin serves a variety of multinational companies on general corporate matters; mergers & acquisitions; economic development; business organization; corporate governance; and labor and employment matters. Kevin’s practice and experience also expands to business immigration including employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories. Before attending law school, Kevin worked for a multinational South Korean electronics company for six years. While there, he served on the human resources, strategic alliance, and mergers & acquisitions team. Kevin obtained is JD from Emory University School of Law and his Bachelor of Laws from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea.

Allyson R. Mancuso joins as an Associate in the firm’s Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Ally’s practice serves a variety of clients, from individuals to corporations in both litigation and arbitration matters. Ally’s background includes experience in premises liability, construction defects, professional negligence, and insurance defense. Ally earned her JD from Emory University School of Law. Prior to law school, Ally attended the University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in English.

Cameron Rentschler joins as an Associate in the firm’s Tort Trial, Insurance and Product Section (TIPS): Risk Mitigation and Complex Litigation Practice Group. Cameron works with clients of all sizes, both large and small, on matters involving complex automotive product liability and insurance defense. His experience includes drafting pleadings and motions, including Rule 702 Motions, Motions in Limine, and Motions for Summary Judgment. While in law school, he worked as a Legal Intern for the Honorable L. Scott Coogler, the Federal Chief District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama and as a Law Clerk for the District Attorney for the Twenty-Fourth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. Cameron earned his JD from the University of Alabama School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from the University of South Carolina.
