Fisher Phillips Adds Three New Associates in California

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Brody has joined the firm as an associate in the Los Angeles office, and Cyrus Moshiri and Harrison Zator have joined as associates in Irvine.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jennifer worked at an AmLaw 200 firm where she represented clients in workplace-related matters, including breach of employment contract, discrimination and harassment, violations of disability and medical leave law, wage and hour claims, and representative actions under the California Private Attorney General’s Act (PAGA). At Fisher Phillips, Jennifer will bring her experience in defending clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters, including class actions and PAGA claims and will provide counseling and training on a wide range of personnel issues.

Jennifer earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where she interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, and her B.A. from Scripps College. She has pro bono experience assisting litigants in filing for conservatorships at Bet Tzedek Legal Services Conservatorship Clinic, an organization that provides representation to low-income residents of Los Angeles County.

Cyrus comes to Fisher Phillips from a national civil litigation firm, where he focused his practice on general liability defense, and has substantial experience litigating matters for individuals, small businesses and carriers throughout California involving premises liability, products liability, and high exposure personal injury claims. During the pandemic, he handled multiple Cal/OSHA appeals from inception to settlement for clients in the hospitality industry and continues to provide day-to-day counseling concerning shifting local and state emergency COVID-19 standards.

Cyrus earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, during which time he was a legal intern for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. He graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Harrison, who returns to Fisher Phillips, will continue his work as an employment advisor and litigator. His practice focuses on counseling employers on complex and everyday employment-related issues to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Harrison regularly defends employers in all stages of employment litigation including in complex wage and hour class actions, representative actions brought under California’s Private Attorney’s General Act, and single plaintiff matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. He also works closely with his clients to implement policies and practices to prevent and minimize risk in the workplace.

Harrison earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was an editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and served as a judicial extern for Judge Theodor C. Albert of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. He earned his B.B.A from California State University, Fullerton.
