BakerHostetler adds Labor and Employment partner in Chicago
BakerHostetler announces that David Serwer has joined the firm as partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. He will be based in Chicago and part of the Immigration team.
“I am thrilled to welcome David to the Labor and Employment Practice Group,” said Amy Traub, chair of BakerHostetler’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. “The wealth of knowledge that he brings to the Immigration team will help us continue to provide outstanding service to our clients nationwide, particularly those with complex immigration issues.”
Serwer’s practice focuses on all aspects of employment-based immigration law, including the submission of applications for work authorization and permanent residence for his clients’ employees, as well as on providing counsel to legal, human resources and executive teams on immigration-related corporate compliance. He has represented clients from startups to Fortune 100 multinational companies in immigration matters.
Serwer earned his J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
