Heiman works with clients in a variety of industries, focusing on domestic and cross-border M&A, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. He also advises early and growth stage companies on formation, equity financings, and general corporate matters. Heiman advises public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex and strategic transactions. He has worked with clients in many industries, including consumer products, technology, food, and chemicals on transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $7 billion.
Prior to joining Fredrikson, Heiman practiced corporate law in the Atlanta office of a global law firm. Prior to attending law school, Heiman worked in economic development at the state and local levels, where he advised executive-level decision makers from across the globe on strategic investment opportunities in the state of Iowa.
