Benesch Adds Healthcare Associate in Chicago
As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome Lianne Foley as an associate in the Benesch Healthcare+ Practice Group in Chicago.
“Lianne is a strong addition to our team. Her background in the healthcare sector and with key industry players has provided her with a deep, nuanced understanding of the challenges her clients face with an ever-changing landscape,” said Gregg Eisenberg, Managing Partner and Executive Committee Member.
Lianne assists hospitals, physician groups, and other health care organizations and professionals in a variety of health care compliance, regulatory, and transactional matters. Her experience includes advising clients of various specialties with licensure and compliance issues, state corporate practice of medicine doctrines, and working with ambulatory surgery centers.
Prior to joining Benesch in 2021, Lianne served as a legal fellow for a regionally renowned health system where she counseled the system on regulatory and compliance issues and implemented business form solutions. While in law school, Lianne worked as a legal extern for the office of general counsel of a large Chicago-area hospital. She was also the Advance Directive Editor for Loyola’s Health Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Lianne worked as a social worker and dedicated her time to survivors of rape, domestic violence, and sex trafficking. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, her M.S.W. from Stony Brook University, and her B.A. from State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
