Armstrong Teasdale Adds Attorney Nicholas Scoullos to IP Team in New York
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Associate Nicholas Scoullos to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group in New York, where he focuses on patents, primarily relating to medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing and fabrication, and mechanical systems. He joins a roster of more than 360 attorneys at Armstrong Teasdale internationally.
Scoullos’ practice includes counseling, due diligence, opinions, patent preparation and prosecution, and post-issuance proceedings. His background in mechanical engineering and professional experience in electrical engineering and power distribution enable him to understand the critical needs of his clients and advance his project management abilities.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Scoullos was an attorney at a patent boutique in the New York metropolitan area. Before earning his J.D., he worked professionally in the electrical engineering and power distribution fields. During law school, Scoullos interned for a law firm and a solo practitioner focusing on patent law, as well as for a university’s in-house patent counsel and for the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic.
